For the past three years I have lived as a full-time hybrid athlete to build Hybrid Fuel the right way — from the training floor up. I have personally invested €360,000 into coaching, recovery, competitions, and product testing. I am not asking to be reimbursed. No part of this raise will cover past spend or personal costs. Funds raised will go entirely to validation, launch, and scale.

The Problem

There are too many supplement products and not enough clear, practical information. Labels and claims are confusing, most formulas are aimed at bodybuilders rather than the everyday exerciser, and product categories aren’t explained in plain language. As a result, people who work out regularly — from beginners to multi-discipline athletes — don’t know what to buy or how to use supplements to support real training needs.

Meanwhile, the market is booming: the European supplement market was worth USD 26.6 billion in 2024 and is expected to grow to USD 42.9 billion by 2035 with a yearly growth of 8%..

The solution

While most brands stay stuck in one niche, Hybrid Fuel turns years of training, expert coaching, and guidance from sports nutritionists and doctors into safe, effective products that scale to mass production. It is a mainstream-ready brand — built for everyone interested in general health, all the way up to high-performance elite athletes.
One brand — three product tiers
Hybrid Fuel is one brand designed to serve the full performance ladder — divided, like in any official tournament, into Junior / Open / Senior:
  • Junior — youth and beginners. Teaching kids to choose electrolytes and hydration over soft drinks, building healthy habits early.
  • Open — for everyone 18 and older, covering the needs of mainstream athletes, gym users, and active lifestyles.
  • Senior — specialized formulas for older adults, whether active or less active, focusing on general health, recovery, and longevity.

Hybrid Fuel offers supplements designed by competing hybrid athletes, tested in labs, and backed by science. It combines real training experience with scientific validation to deliver products that work. Built for everyone — from beginners to elite athletes — because we believe every body deserves the best.

Product & launch focus

Hybrid Fuel begins with a disciplined Launch Stack designed around real training and recovery needs. The first line includes:
  • Whey Isolate — fast recovery and muscle repair
  • Creatine Monohydrate — proven support for strength and power
  • Pre-Workout (no crash) — clean energy and focus under fatigue
  • EAA/BCAA — performance and endurance during training
  • Electrolytes — hydration and balance for repeated sessions
  • Clean Carb Powder — steady energy during and after workouts
  • Vitamin D3 + K2 — immune health, bone strength, and hormone support
  • Omega-3 — heart, brain, and joint health
  • Magnesium Bisglycinate — sleep quality, recovery, and muscle function
  • Multivitamin — complete baseline coverage for everyday health
Future products will expand into sleep support, joint health, greens + probiotics.

the founder

Founder Abraham Sengers lives as a full-time hybrid athlete.

I am not a businessman chasing supplement sales — I am an athlete building them for athletes. From the age of six until eighteen, competitive sport was my education. After years in business, I walked away three years ago to return full-time to what defines me: being an athlete. Since then, I have invested everything into training and competition to build Hybrid Fuel from the ground up.

Today, I compete monthly across MMA, BJJ, boxing, kickboxing, bodybuilding, and Ironman. I train three times a day, six days a week, and document the process with authentic content from real sessions. Speaking five languages allows me to connect directly with diverse audiences. My Instagram currently reaches ~200,000 people monthly, proving that disciplined, consistent storytelling resonates.

I will be both the brand’s lead athlete and its proof of concept — showing that Hybrid Fuel works in practice, not just on paper.

Market tailwinds

Europe’s dietary supplements market was valued at USD 26.6B in 2024 and is projected at USD 28.7B in 2025, with a ~8.45% CAGR through 2032. Western Europe specifically is estimated at USD 19B in 2025, reaching USD 42.9B by 2035 at ~8.7% CAGR. Other analysts place 2024–2032 growth for sports nutrition broadly at 7–8% CAGR. This represents a robust and expanding category for a differentiated entrant.

Go-to-Market & Marketing Strategy

We launch through two key channels:

DIRECT-TO-CONSUMER E-COMMERCE

to scale reach, subscriptions, and data.

Exclusive partnerships with gyms and sports clubs

to build local credibility.

We start with 60–90 day low-margin pilot programs to build trial, supported by staff training, on-floor education, seminar days, and controlled sampling. Each pilot location is measured against clear performance targets (KPIs — Key Performance Indicators) such as how many customers try, how many come back, and how much product sells each month. If a location performs, it earns local exclusivity and shifts to standard wholesale terms. This way we keep CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost — the cost of winning a new customer) low and show investors strong LTV (Lifetime Value — the total revenue from each customer over time) from the very beginning.

Differentiation & Market Position

Most supplement brands stay locked into a single sport — usually bodybuilding — or dilute themselves with generic lifestyle marketing. Hybrid Fuel is different. It is built around the real, everyday demands of training across multiple sports, at the exact moment when the market is shifting: longevity and health are becoming the new hype, and nightclubs are giving way to next-generation gym clubs. Hybrid Fuel positions itself at the highest level of this movement — a supplement brand with a clear vision, honest third-party testing, and a strong identity. These are not niche products; they are essentials that every active person needs, whether their goal is health, performance, or longevity. This combination of cultural timing, credibility, and necessity makes Hybrid Fuel uniquely hard to copy.
Milestones
Last quarter of 2025: complete market research, brand system, site MVP, and supplier agreements.
Q1 2026: finalize formulations and EU compliance, manufacture pilot batch, DTC launch, pilot in select gyms in 2–3 countries, expand athlete program, and add 1–2 products based on data.

Marketing through the Athlete Program
Our approach is not to pay for one-off influencer posts, but to give back to the sport by investing directly in the next generation of athletes. We look for hardworking talents across different sports and offer them structured contracts. Each athlete receives branded merchandise and professional photo and video shoots in a consistent Hybrid Fuel style. Their own posts are then boosted financially on social media, allowing them to grow authentic visibility while strengthening the Hybrid Fuel brand. At the same time, we mentor them with supplement knowledge and content basics — showing that success today is not only about winning in sports, but also about building a sustainable online presence. This creates a repeatable marketing engine: athletes gain support and skills, Hybrid Fuel gains loyal ambassadors, and both grow together.

Context

To put this in context: in 2025 I competed every month, with the standout highlights being winning a medal in bodybuilding and fighting MMA in the cage — two sports that demand opposite physical qualities. Both were necessary for me to fully understand the real needs of athletes across the spectrum. To close the year, I will compete in an Ironman 70.3, proving endurance at the highest level. Bodybuilding, cage fighting, and Ironman in the same year is almost unheard of for a single athlete. I do it not for personal glory, but to prove — to myself, to the audience, and to investors — that Hybrid Fuel is built and tested in the toughest, most diverse arenas of sport. Let’s finish this year strong — and build Hybrid Fuel together.

The sacrifice and the edge
Training and competing every month across MMA, BJJ, boxing, kickboxing, bodybuilding, and Ironman is far from normal. It is an extreme, deliberate commitment to understanding real-world athlete needs — recovery, performance under fatigue, weight-cut safety, and durability through repeated cycles. In 2025 alone, I completed around 300 five-minute ice baths to accelerate recovery and build resilience. This level of discipline is my personal equity in the company and forms the moat around the Hybrid Fuel brand. Sports medicine research confirms the physical challenges and risks of repeated high-intensity training and weight cuts, highlighting that every product we develop is rigorously tested in the most demanding, real-world conditions.
